Brave Creative were not only responsible for the Website Design, but we were also responsible for the Brand Development and Logo Design, as you can see from the gallery on the right.
Website Design
We designed the website with a modern, and clean looking interface design but with hints of a traditional luxury golden theme. The logo design that we developed focused on the winter flake icon coupled with a Serif styled font and an underlying Sans Serif for the "Exclusive" message, mixing old with new.
Our initial thoughts were to provide enough imagery within the first five seconds of opening the website to inspire the user, give them confidence and show them credibility.
Website Functionality
The website has a CMS (Content Management System) built so the client can administrate real time booking availability, a Website Flash Gallery, Guestbook page, News Section, Recruitment page and a full dynamic landing page section which benefits from SEO attributes.
Online Booking System
The online booking CMS allows the administrator to key in date ranges, prices in Sterling and Euros plus whether the chalet is available or booked out for either the current year or the next.
Website Flash Gallery
The website gallery gives the client the tools to upload one image, and for that image to be converted into a main gallery shot and also into the thumbnail version too (optimised for web of course). Once they have entered the picture caption, all this content is converted into a flash gallery, which auto runs or can be controlled by the user.
Guestbook Page
Each entry of the guestbook is entered via the CMS and accompanied by a photo uploader which optimises the images in the fly.
News Section
News sections for websites are useful for two reasons, one to keep your users up to date with the latest info and secondly, they are now contributing to how website owners gain SEO rankings. The news section again has an image uploader as well as a fully paginating archive of current and old news. All of which is great for SEO purposes.
SEO website development
All of the static pages of this site have SEO credentials and all CMS pages have integrated SEO added entry points for ease of use. Need proof? Result
The website continues to gain ground on google in a very competitive market, some of which are extremely large chalet groups, but it just shows, with the right foundation development, design and client understanding of how SEO can be used, you can have a top ranking, top performing website.
