Active Camping is a sister business to one of favourite clients Barnack, like Barnack.co.uk and WellieBoots.com the Active Camping website runs on a cybertill platform, which we are experts at designing and optimising thanks to many years work with Cybertill websites.  Active Camping sell festival camping equipment, clothing and footwear from their store near Cambridge - so the new website had to showcase their wide range of products but also rank well on Google and other search engines in a highly competitive marketplace.

Competitive Markets - SEO

Active Camping are trading in a very competitive sector with brands Gelert, Coleman and Outwell tents, the site also had no history with Google and other search engines which makes it very difficult to go from zero to hero in terms of rankings without a large SEO budget.  We developed a phased SEO campaign which targeted niche keywords in order to gain a foothold in the marketplace initially - building up to a more aggressive campaign in 12 to 24 months. The website is also hosted on Cybertill, which has it's own limitations in terms of SEO and Design, but we have developed a great understanding of Cybertill over the years thanks to working on Welliesboots.com.
