Hytner already had a search engine presence, but there was a lack of understanding as to which keywords actually drive valid enquiries - and also the "good" rankings they already had were mainly for keywords with limited traffic i.e. people simply did not search for the keywords Hytner ranked highly for.

Hytner are a classic example of how important keyword research is to a good SEO strategy; simply ranking for what keywords you "think" people would type into to Google IS not going to work.  To be successful you need to research what people actually search for - related to your business and then define the search engine optimistion strategy which caters for all of their keywords where possible. We tracked the performance of each keyword through Google Analytics to see which keywords actually lead to an enquiry e.g. contact form, telephone enquiry - from this data we can now start to determine which keywords actually drive revenue to Hytner.
