Our Illustrators were tasked with creating a series of illustrations for a course entitled "Asbestos Management" which was designed to provide a guide for Premises Managers within a Council about the dangers and precautions required when working with asbestos. This was one of many courses illustrated by the team, including: Management of Police information, Collections Security for the British Library, Control of Contractors and Water System Safety

Once we established an illustration style, it was fairly straightforward to then apply this to each of the courses. The images were drawn in black linework and coloured up using illustrator/photoshop. It was a conscious decision to keep the style quite light even though the subject content was serious.
