Pelican Consulting has experience in Liquidity Risk stretching back to 1997, with many members of the Pelican team being involved in the development of the first enterprise-wide Liquidity Risk system at Deutsche Bank.

Branding a Consultancy

Developing a brand for a financial company meant we needed to create something professional that would be taken seriously in the city and world markets. As well as creating the Pelican logo the colours we chose also need to reflect a serious side yet stand out from the normal conservative colours used in this market.

The brand was used through the literature, website, exhibition stands and on a fleet of sailing boats they sponsored.

Branding in the wind

The brand was expanded in to the Sailing & Racing School – Pelican Racing based on the Isle of Wight.

Pelican Racing was officially launched on the 19 April 2009 with 6 Laser SB3's and a RIB. Following a successful launch they invested in a further 6 boats to take our fleet up to 13 SB3’s and 1 Rib. Eash boat is branded with the Pelican logo on the sail and hull of each boat. Pelican Racing offers a wide range of sailing, power boating and navigation theory courses. With the RYA's keelboat training you will cover sail and motor techniques, with the basic principles being similar to dinghy sailing, but the experience being on a small yacht.
