The Angling Times is the UK's largest angling newspaper and has been going for years. Angling Times is for you if you're a coarse or carp angler desperate for the hottest new ideas and venues that'll help you get more bites. Dedicated to putting more fish on the bank, Angling Times is loaded with tips, tactics and hints from the sport's biggest stars including world champions Bob Nudd, Alan Scotthorne, and Tommy Pickering; plus TV's Matt Hayes, Martin Bowler, Des Taylor, Keith Arthur and Will Raison!

We were involved in the early stages of bringing the original magazine brand to the online market and so a series of advertising design pages were required which were filtered through to many of the Emap (Bauer media as its known now) magazine titles to raise awareness of the launch to the online arena.

The Advertising Design has a distinctive image to it, the tone is simple, "an obsession" being that Anglers are passionate with a shadow of a doubt and are obsessed with Angling. Again, as we've already mentioned in previous advertising design articles, people always look at people first on adverts and this one is no exception. The finishing touch is the fishing lure as an earing.
